A goal of the Accelerated Mobile Pages Project is to ensure effective ad monetization on the mobile web while embracing a user-centric approach. With that context, the objective is to provide support for a comprehensive range of ad formats, ad networks and technologies in Accelerated Mobile Pages. Installing process of AMP plugin is similar to other WordPress plugins like downloading zip file, uploading to plugin folder and activating.
Validating Accelerated Mobile Pages for a WordPress site:
After installing the plugin, add /amp to any one of your article to load the AMP version.
For example, for your site http://mywebsite.com/post url, you need to be loading this: http://mywebsite.com/post/amp.
Now visit any AMP version of page in Chrome and add #development=1 to the URL.
Now open developers tools by pressing Ctrl+Shit+I, and click on Console. Refresh the page again, if everything is right, you’ll see the message AMP validation successful.
