Finally, WordPress 3.4 is released with new features like Theme Previewer and Customizer, Media Library as Header Image source, better image caption which includes HTML support. Apart from other performance improvements and bug fixes, WordPress 3.4 is having Tweet Embed support which enables you to embed twitter status of any user in no time.
oEmbed came with WordPress 2.9 which enabled users to embed YouTube, Vimeo, Flickr videos and images inside the posts. With WordPress 3.4, you would be able to embed tweets as well.
To embed a tweet inside a post, you just need to paste the twitter status URL. For example, I am embedding an old tweet from my twitter account. To embed the tweet, I just pasted the following URL inside the visual editor of WordPress.

Couple of days ago, Facebook released better integration with WordPress and now easy Twitter status embed with WordPress 3.4. It’s time to show the power of social media and networking on WordPress platform.
